Since the two crappy washers in my building tend to always be busy, and since I have a bit of a washer fetish (aren’t they the greatest machines ever invented?), I had to go down to Ever Gold today to check out their current show. Until May 5th the gallery has been renamed Ever Wash and turned into a minimalist laundromat by curator Tony Labat and conceptual artist Guy Overfelt, inviting visitors to actually do their laundry there like I did. And so should you while the show is on, and experience being part of an art installation while being broadcast on the internets.
