They were supposed to reopen on the 31st but it appears it’s taking a bit longer to upgrade the sandwich technology at local stalwart, Saigon Sandwiches. This is quite a bummer to me as it means I might have to actually cook breakfast tomorrow.

I really admire their use of three non-matching fonts, and is that a fade in fontsize on sandwich? Kudos, I’m sure the remodel is lovely.
Maybe they are taking the extra time to clean up that crap hole. I mean, they might make great sandwiches that are damn cheap, but what the hell is with Asians and piles of garbage? And the small cooler powered by 3 extension cords daisy-chained across the floor is classic.
they were open yesterday. they got a new counter and the shelves are gone.
