If you think about the cokehead vs. stonewad commercials, you start to see that Apple really doesn’t feature much semblance of let’s say, “color” in their ads and that it could be assumed that Apple products are generally for white and maybe Asian folks. When walking around the hood today, I saw the ad above on a bus shelter along Larkin. It shows that sometimes they do feel the need to overlay a couple of non-white hands to their iPad print ads depending on the part of town the ad is in, because yeah, the Tenderloin is freakin’ iPad central.

Of course, it’s a little ridiculous that this user is watching TED videos. Obviously this is Apple’s Ministry of Political Correctedness working overtime to show that yes, if you’re black, you will use the iPad to better yourself, as opposed to just watching cats playing patty cake on YouTube like we all really do.
