Max is a nervous little chihuahua who lives right accross the street from the Tenderloin National Forest, on Ellis street. That’s actually where I met him on a warm Sunday afternoon with his owner, who was sitting with other neighbors on the sunny side of the street. After that, I’ve seen him a few times on the 27, sitting shyly on his owner’s lap. But if you pet him and give him a bit of attention, he’ll show his friendly side, and maybe he’ll even play with you.
If you, too, want your own doggie to love and carry around on the bus, take a look at all these little adoptable fellas at the SPCA website.
