Since Australia Fair moved up to Bush Street, there’s been some action going on at the corner of Taylor and Sutter. Not only is the former Fair’s exterior being painted a jolly red, but the scaffolding has become a de facto dumping ground for posters, graffiti, and street art. Makes sense given that this corner is ringed by art academy buildings with students therein.

Last week I saw some eye-catching art, like the BP Superman on the plywood. This week, it was gone, replaced by the non-freak of nature skeleton and a poster for Saw VII (do these ever end?) Seems like neither promoters or artists can resist the allure of fresh plywood.
