I went to a local favorite restaurant, Golden Era, for dinner the other night and caught a glimpse of someplace newish. It’s called Kokoro Studio, and it’s about 10 kinds of Japanese cartoon cuteness. Being of the Japanese persuasion myself, I’ll have to check it out this weekend. It’s got some sort of exhibition opening Thursday July 22, which features clay sets from a claymation animator. Pretty cool stuff! If you check out their Facebook page, you can see some of their past exhibits. Kokoro looks small and cramped and crowded, kind of like Tokyo. Welcome to the hood, Kokoro! Or should I say, irasshaimase!
