The other day walking along Eddy street I saw an interesting poster on a shop window, titled Your Tenderloin and with the subtitle “The Tenderloin Geographic Society presents a real-life guide to one of the most exciting neighborhoods in San Francisco”. The poster is basically a great annotated map of restaurants and eating joints in the Tenderloin, drawn by Nicole M. Harvey. Comments such as “Tenderloin Tip #1: Appropriate dress ought not include speedos & flip-flops”, “Definitive proof that there’s still hope: A 24hr Naan’n’Curry”, “Tenderloin Tip #3: don’t hesitate something new” or “Do pigeons like Cafe do Brasil?” made me immediately love this map and want a copy for myself. So I went to the website at the bottom of the poster, of the North of Market/Tenderloin Community Benefit District, and there was a big-size pdf of the map! I hope you’ll enjoy it as much as I did because, like the map says the Tenderloin is “Action, adventure, and really good dinner”!
